When the EOG announced a pause for OutDoor in 2025, the EOG reaffirmed its commitment to staging a trade show for the European outdoor industry, with a fresh approach for 2026.
After many months of discussion and feedback from the industry it was decided to move the OUTDOOR Trade Show to Riva del Garda as part of a renewed concept designed to bring the outdoor industry together in a location that reflects the spirit and purpose of the sector.
The EOG wanted a destination that genuinely represents the outdoor lifestyle while also providing a strong platform for collaboration, business growth, and community engagement in the form of Outdoor and Running Business Days (ORDays). Riva del Garda offers a natural environment closely connected to outdoor activities, making it a fitting backdrop for the industry to meet, exchange ideas, and showcase products.
In addition, the move supports a broader vision to integrate the show into a wider programme of events during European Outdoor Week. By combining multiple complementary events in one location, the aim is to create a more compelling experience, attract a wider audience, and deliver greater value for participating businesses.
Ultimately, placing the trade show in Riva del Garda is intended to unite the outdoor community in a single, inspiring setting while encouraging organisations across the sector to come together, collaborate, and address industry challenges through positive and collective action.
The European Outdoor Group (EOG) and it's membership has always been the organisation behind the OutDoor Trade show. Previously partnered with Messe Friedrichshafen and then with Messe Munich and ISPO. This new partnership is with MagNet Srl SB, a successful event and media company from Milan, Italy.
As part of European Outdoor Week there will also be other specific partners involved for their expertise in specific areas but MagNet wil be the primary organisers and best contact for all events.
European Outdoor Week brings together the most influential brands, retailers, suppliers, media, and industry leaders from across the outdoor sector. The week offers a unique opportunity for exhibitors, partners, and sponsors to connect directly with key decision-makers, showcase new products, and build meaningful relationships within the global outdoor community.
With a dynamic programme buildng on the success of the Outdoor & Running Business Days and including the Outdoor Impact Summit, the European Outdoor Awards, and extensive networking events, participants can position their brand at the heart of the industry. Set against an inspiring outdoor playground ideal for product testing and authentic brand experiences, European Outdoor Week provides an efficient, high-value platform to generate new business opportunities, gain visibility, and help shape the future of the outdoor industry.

Riva del Garda is not a major European city, nor is it a transport hub - that's one of the reasons we chose to move OUTDOOR to Italy. A chance to do business in the mountains, close to the trails, the lake, the climbing, where our products are meant to be and where the outdoor community can come together.
Full information on how best to get to Riva del GGarda can be found on the Getting Here page*.
*Remember that there is a supported programe available for retailers and selected media.
